Leigh (@lshfoster) and Ellie (@elliebrigida) are joined by Lez Hang Out events' director Rebecca Noyes (@rebecca_noyes) to talk about why Miss Congeniality Should've Been Gay. If Gracie Lou Freebush isn't a lesbian, why does she act and look and speak like one? From the first minute Gracie is on screen as a kid reading Nancy Drew (we've all been there) to the last minute when Gracie is holding onto her girlfriend Cheryl as if her life depends on it, there is SO MUCH GAY. Miss Congeniality is the love story between an out and proud lesbian cop and a repressed Miss Rhode Island who sets fire to her batons and her sexuality for the love of her life. There is no other way to interpret this film. Follow along on Twitter @lezhangoutpod and Facebook and Instagram (@lezhangoutpod).
